About Tutoring
The main goal of Rachel Sidda Tutoring is to provide top quality maths and science tuition for students in the Wanaka area, by giving students an enjoyable lesson experience that builds confidence in their abilities and enthusiasm for their subjects.

Lessons will have a strong focus on NCEA exam topics and will also include broader discussion of the material and its application to the world around us.
​
Both one-to-one and small group tutoring are available. Students will be paired or grouped with others studying the same subject and level.
​
All maths options, chemistry and physics are available to NCEA level 3, and other sciences to level 2. Tutoring is available to students from year 9 to adult.
​
Flexible timetabling and payment options are available.

In addition to work with NCEA students, Rachel also has experience teaching adults, University students and those studying a different syllabus. Enquiries are welcome from all who would like help with maths and sciences, including:

I am originally from the UK, where I studied Chemistry to Masters Level and Medical Materials to PhD level at the University of Cambridge.
​
I now reside permanently in Wanaka, and hope that I can share my passion for maths and science and help my students achieve their best possible results.
​
I am a competitive figure skater, so in my spare time I regularly head over to Queenstown for training. I also am a very keen snowboarder and enjoy adventures with my golden retriever, Ruby.
